Filling Orders

Monday, November 30, 2009
So, Liz, here they are. Ripe for the picking. You have first dibs on any of the totes you see.
These are the two boy ones. I have another of the wildlife totes, but you wanted two different ones for the guys so here they are.

The lining fabric on this one is so cute. I think any girl would love the birdies inside.

These are the newest three.
There are 11 girl totes, so just tell me which three you don't want and I'll ship the rest up to you.
Love you, and thanks a ton for your support.

A new batch

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

So here are the latest in my scripture tote array. I just finished adding flowers today and I am pretty happy with the way they turned out. I need to get all the practise I can making these because I'm teaching a class on how to make them at super saturday. How do I get myself into these things? So, another opinion poll, which type of flower do you like better? The daisy look or the frayed edge flower? Or do you think a mixture of both? p.s. don't you love the huge buttons? I found a whole bag of them at Michael's, I think I'll have to go get some more.

whaddaya think?

Friday, October 30, 2009
I have been asked a couple of times about making scripture bags for boys. I always worried that it would still look a little like a purse. But, with such masculine fabric, I think it looks just like what it is, a scripture tote for a boy. Except that it's not my opinion that counts. Would you buy this for your son? Or should I go back to the drawing board and come up with a different bag design that might be more appealing?
