whaddaya think?

I have been asked a couple of times about making scripture bags for boys. I always worried that it would still look a little like a purse. But, with such masculine fabric, I think it looks just like what it is, a scripture tote for a boy. Except that it's not my opinion that counts. Would you buy this for your son? Or should I go back to the drawing board and come up with a different bag design that might be more appealing?

So this is a preview of a new table topper I am making for the fall season. I love these fabrics because while the colors are distinctly warm and autumnal in hue, they are not "themey" making them perfect for the season, or all year round if this is the pallate you surround yourself with.

I am also working with my cousin Katie, who makes such delightful vinyl creations, on putting together some holiday boutiques. We have a few along the Wasatch front and one huge one (hopefully) in St. George. Keep watching for more information.

When I showed her the table topper I made for the fourth, my Grandma requested I make a floral one for her. While I think this might be a little to "hip" for most grandmothers, it suits my grandma just right. I think it screams summer and I just love how it turned out. (so did she btw)
