Snowmen

Monday, December 15, 2008

This is a custom stitching that I made for my friend. She wanted something to replace a picture for the holidays. I have to admit that I was a little worried about doing something of this scale (the whole thing ended up being 2 feet by 3 feet) but I think it turned out really cute. And she loved it, which is the whole point.

trying something different

Thursday, November 20, 2008

So, as you know I am pretty much bannered out. (is bannered a word? probably not) But I wanted to try something different. My mom had seen a thanksgiving banner with just the letters, so I thought i would try a Christmas one. Short and sweet. What do you think? should I make more this way, put the letters back on the pennants and don't mess with a good thing or bag the whole thing completely?
Still living. Just thought I would update everyone on that. I...am.....still.......alive.....barely.
This boutique season has just about been the death of me. I am exhausted from using every spare minute (and some not so spare) to craft everything from crayon holders to birthday books to candy jars. Not to mention the billion or so banners I have created in the last two months. So it is with great pleasure that I announce my second to last boutique for the season! It is going to be this weekend and it sounds like it will be tons of fun. Leave a comment if you would like me to send you the flier. Erin has done a great job with advertising, especially since this is her first time hosting a boutique. Thanks Erin.
