The "what I've been up to" post
mentioned that I have been working on some projects. I thought I would show you a couple of the things I've been up to. This is a crib skirt and valance I was asked to make for a customer who purchased a table runner from my recent stint at Oh Sweet Sadie. I happened to have the charm packs still and made up the pattern. I'm hoping she loves them, because I do. :)
Riley Blake Designs offered me the fabric to use to make up the pattern and tutorial for my blog. I made it in such a rush the first time, I thought I would make a couple more so I could work out the kinks and make the tutorial as mistake free as possible. I will have it posted as soon as I can.
The wallet was also something I made for SNAP. Since I made a new bag for myself (which I have yet to post about also) I needed a new wallet. I love this one so much, I'm hoping to develop a pattern for sale from it. It's definitely a work in progress, since I know next to nothing about pattern writing, but I'm hoping it will be a jumping off point for future patterns. (this wallet was made using Doodlebug's Tuxedo fabric by Riley Blake in laminate (the black and white))
Mix it in with prep for the Last Day of School Party (I'll show pics soon) tomorrow morning, plus the usual mom/ pregnancy realities of life and that pretty much sums up the last few weeks. I love every minute of it and I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful opportunities.
Now off to finish up prep for the party.
