The package contained glue, glue dots, foam core board, gel pens, Xacto retractable blades, decorative edge scissors and more. It was like Christmas for this craft supply addict!
I got busy and finally came up with this super cute centerpiece. I'd love to show you how I did it.
Again, another tip is to slide the stick from the inside of the shape to the edge, so you don't get a ridge of glue on the side of the shape. Repeat for the other side. I also wanted to make my shapes more dimensional after seeing Irene's cute birds here. So I cut out accent pieces and covered one side of them with paper as well. If you want to distress your shapes like I did, you will want to do that now.
|From the side. You can see the foam core, but I love it!|
I'm going to be using these a lot in the next few weeks- so keep your eyes open.
I received this product from a give away on No Biggie, but the opinions are mine. :)
p.s. the Theme-day Thursday bag update is going to be late. Tomorrow is my sewing day, so hopefully it will mean I'll have something to actually share. :)
