Sweet and Simple

Friday, November 5, 2010
You know, I love complicated projects. Ones that take layers and layers of adding and changing and moving and arranging. Like my Chrysanthemum pillow, I mean that proves I'm not afraid of hard work, right?
But sometimes, you don't need layers upon layers. Sometimes a brown paper bag and a few spiral rose paper flowers are all you need to make the point. This is the giftwrap I used for my sister's new baby gift. Blue flowers for a little boy, sweet and pretty for one amazing mama!

Thanks for the link! I love video tutorials:) These are so easy to make... I may be adding some to my Christmas wrapping. Your bag looks beautiful.

I JUST bought two plain brown paper bags for $1 for baby gifts last week, but couldn't decide how to pretty them up--bow? twine?...alas, a PERFECT answer to my dilemma! thanks!!
